“Even if used all of Earth, we could not meet growing meat demands.

There has been some progress, but the beef:feed conversion ratio can be 30:1.

The solution is plant-based meat and clean meat.”

And on a later panel, when challenged on the market acceptance of “lab-grown meat”, Seth Bannon of Fifty Year: “We don’t say ‘lab-grown Cheerios’ but that’s how they are made. People don’t like meat because of how it is produced. They like meat despite how it is produced.” Well said!
