
Ha! This is clearly not my photo, but it does give me an excuse to share some cool stuff.
Skywalker Sound has put together a very cool compilation video of the solid rocket booster perspective from launch to splash down. Make sure to watch full screen.
I will be going to the Kennedy Space Center to crawl throughout the Shuttle Endeavour as she is powered up for the very last time. That should be an amazing experience. I last got some cool night photos of Endeavour for STS-118.
This time, we will be taking 3D video and 360° Quicktime VR (I need to work on the rig for that). The final output, post processing, should look like this VR view of Discovery.
Then I’ll see the SpaceX Falcon9 launch to the ISS…. From one generation to the next.
