   The exif data says the flash fired…(with red eye reduction no less..) and fl was 29mm
   How far away were you ?

   wow!!! it is a serious risk-taking to be that close to so many large size kitties… great experience if humans are only participants, not food:) yep, they look sweeet and cudly being asleep… like kittens…

   Lions at night is pretty dangerous in an open vehicle.
   Try tracking a rhino on foot during the day.
   Mumbo camp is king of the cats.
   Abu’s does elephant back safaris.
   Check out the Namibian Skeleton Coast if you have the time.

   jonsmir1: Try tracking a rhino on foot during the day. Heh, just got back from tracking a territorial bull rhino by mountain bike. Five large rifle slugs for protection… =)

   And, yeah, saw 23 lions at Mumbo and 8 at Vumbura.
