A historical milestone in swarming robots, this is #24 of the 100 autonomous robots scurrying about the halls of SRI to survey and build a distributed map, and track intruders. They operated without centralized communication or control.

Seen at SRI this morning, as well as the new robots using electroadhesion to climb walls.

    I’d only worry if after a long weekend, a quick count shows 200 scurrying about and looking saucy.
