OK, OK. I don’t get it…..
They sent your contribution back? What, didn’t they like your support of science and education, or was it the oil lobby wing that did not like all the competition you were creating with your green energy investments?
I know, it was the religious right, protesting your playing god with Synthetic Genomics and creating synthetic biological organisms. If that cat gets out of the bag, they are all done. Would that then make them no long pro-life, since it was not created by god? But god created man, er go god created life created by man?

ok, ok…. but I was enjoying the speculation so much…
So, Palin was paying a visit to California and for $1K, you could have lunch with her. It seemed like a fair price to place a baiting question… like "what magazines, exactly, do you read?"
So I paid $1K on Sept 12, and then asked some friends to brainstorm ideas. It was a fun exercise; what might get her going?… Here was one emailed to me: "Do you think that our federal government should really be funding educational institutions that teach evolution, which is clearly at odds with the values of our forefathers?"
Then they moved the venue in a way that made it unlikely that I’d get a public question in, so I asked for a refund, and the check showed up today.
Which begs an interesting question – can other McCain donors ask for a refund? If something changed, and they no longer like the ticket…
If you happen to be one, give it a try!

Very interesting!! Useful information. I can think of great things to do with that 1000$!! If it were my refunded money, I would get a birthday present to myself tomorrow. Instead, I am getting snow!!!
By the way, one serious young author with a dry sense of humour said on television something like this:
"What, she reads ALL magazines? So she reads… (she proceeded to name magazines for babies, parenting, dogs, mechanics etc..)" That was funny.

It just takes some work but feasible .. if you haven’t heard or seen it, this one is hilarious – a comedian from Canada fooled Palin and all her security into speaking with him .. he was impersonating Sarkozy and got her to say really funnnnnny things -uh sad .. ..
