It captures a pretty good image with the front lens removed. I put the image stabilization module lens back on the imager, and was surprised to see her looking back at me….
Reminds me of disassembling an Elph camera for a school project once. They put the terminals of the flash capacitor RIGHT where you want to put your fingers to pick it up. Got me several times. 😛

I came to this photo via Wikipedia and seems to be the only resource on the Web where you can see what’s inside a compact Lumix. It helped me actually in fixing my Lumix FX50, where the lense refused to go in after power down. So thanks for publishing this!
