  1. Raining?
    Field— fill with tears??

  2. Certainly not what I want it to be because I never drink soft drinks but it looks like some kind of soft drink.

  3. I’d say the pic is upside down, looking into a tank of water or other liquid. Bubbles floating up and sitting on the surface.

  4. yeah, leorex seems right – surely looking up to bubbles under the surface of water – if not in a tank, you have a waterproof housing for your camera!

  5. A Pentax Optio WP is a water-proof camera, so the photo could have been taken underwater. But, it also looks a little bit like a piece of ice with bubbles and the shot taken through the ice (me thinking it’s ice because it’s cold where I am!). =)

  6. These certainly look like air bubbles on the surface of water in a fishtank or something similar. And the picture is upside-down.

  7. looks thicker than water.. water bubbles don’t usually hold together on the surface quite like that.

  8. I’d say it’s upside down, it’s water, there’s no ice (or anything solid) on top, but there seems to be some kind of oily (or soapy?) pellicle on top that prevents the water skin from breaking, thus forming the bubbles.

  9. a rocketonic, photonicsomehingonit, bigscientificnanoword, bangboombubble upside down macromaker in a hot tub:)

  10. Bingo Biotron + Leorex! Sorry I was asleep when you posted your comment. =)

The camera is underwater looking up to the water’s surface. The big bubbles are the bottom of air bubbles on the surface. The little bubbles (top left of the frame) are rising underwater.

This is the fountain out in front of the office at work. It has many mysteries. Here’s a view from above:

And…. Sol1 has to win the aspirational prize! =)
