Making Mouse Mates with MDMA

From Boris Heifets: to test sociability, the mouse can go to the left room or the right. The difference is that the cage on the right holds another mouse. As one might expect, when on MDMA (versus Saline placebo), the mouse spends more time on the social side. Boris’ favorite result though was seen on the right chart, by also varying whether the trapped mouse was on MDMA. That alone promoted pro-social behavior… and best of all was if they both on it.
