Look who showed up at our Xmas party, a full orc head. It was a total surprise gift from my buddy Erik from 7th grade, and D&D compatriot. So many memories… I just reviewed the extended Mᴏɴsᴛᴇʀ Mᴀɴᴜᴀʟ entry on them: “Orcs are savage raiders and pillagers. Orcs gather in tribes that exert their dominance and satisfy their bloodlust by plundering villages, slaying any humanoids that stand against them. Orcs wage an endless war on humans, elves, dwarves, and other folk. Orcs hold a particular hatred for elves.”
It came in a huge box, as detached heads tend to do. It has an internal fiberglass shell and helmet, green foam-latex skin, leather eye patch, and faux saliva around the mouth. Intentional holes on the neck enable visibility for the actor.
Santa’s elves better watch out!
