The Inspiration4 Crew have one on their training capsule, as I saw on my last visit. When they launch on Sept 15, we will have three SpaceX Dragons in orbit for the first time, with two perched at station and the third free-flying and soaring above the ISS, with an even wider perspective.
Netflix will be covering this mission in their Countdown docuseries, starting Monday.
The fresh face is from Christopher Michel shooting profiles for the National Academies of Science… and, I have coveted his photography since first finding him in 2004, when we both joined flickr. 1000 words don’t do justice to his artistry and skill with the camera. Oh, and did I mention his love of space?
