A massive 42.5″ x 22.5″ x 6″ panel containing three analog clock faces (left to right): 13″ diameter, “Local Time”; 11″ diameter, “Current Hold”; and 13″ diameter, “Firing Time”. At top center is a digital readout of Minutes and Seconds for “Time To Go” and just beneath a red lighted “Holding” display. At bottom right is a toggle switch for “Current Hold Circuit On/Off”.

  1. NASA photo taken during the launch of Gemini 6 with this clock visible, high on the wall: There are several stickers on the right side including "KSC / NASA" and the Martin Company for a Time Display Panel

  2. There used to be a place on Polaris in Mountain View that would engrave rack panels and then flow paint, or epoxy ink, into the engraved letters. These stamped metal tags for configuration management are pretty rare. There might still be some dust from the Martin plant underneath those metal tags.
