Here is how I used the DSLR to take three frames from an overhead-tripod perspective, using the strap under tension as an anchor point:and this what I got from a -2/0/+2EV HDR merge of three photos: I broke by DSLR moments later lending my wide angle lens to a posse from France. I stored their lens on my 5D-II to keep dust off the sensor, and their lens popped the fresnel lens off my "single lens reflex" (I was able to fix it later on). So, I only had my pocket camera, and I’m still facing the sun. So I used my polarizing sunglasses next to the lens for an ad-hoc polarizing filter, and it worked better at removing glare (but could not go to 16mm wide angle): Feeder Lake Powell: And the surreal 2.25GW Navajo Generation Station, basically a coal-fired power plant located in the Navajo Nation but sending the power to LA and Vegas
