Here’s something you don’t normally get to see (since it is usually inside the rocket) – the burst of the BP charge blowing forward from one of the Aerotech G79 fin-tip motors.

    Popping the parachutes. The black/red one was supposed to come later, when the baro sensor detects the altitude has dropped to 800 ft., so this photo helps us conclude that one shear pin was not enough to hold the nose cone on through the yank of the apogee drogue
