This is what the minimum-diameter 3D-printed fin cans look like up close, on a plane
Rockets on a Plane, with a heart for the LUV airline

The 38mm version went a little differently

  2. Don’t like the units? =) P.S. I just recovered this rocket yesterday, 10 days after launch. A nice Russian-accented guy found it on the beach, saw the 650 area code on the phone number written on the rocket, and brought it back home with him. When he called me at work, he said "I figured that someone launching rockets in Half Moon Bay from the 650 area code probably lives near Menlo Park, and that’s where I live, so I brought it back." I commended him on his reasoning, as he reached me at work, in Menlo Park.

  3. naturally i don’t like the Units…. i’m a scientist 🙂
am delighted all these folks call and return the rockets. so nice!
