Final flight of Dick’s magnificent ARLISS airframe, with aluminum fins… Alas, she came back ballistic far far away… Tom’s modified Howitzer-launched rocket is below… She survived 600 G’s in that gun, but not the alfalfa treachery of October Skies… =)

    She’s a veteran of the pneumatic Howitzer launches, leaving the bore supersonic, pulling 600 G’s !!!

    as it accelerates from 0 to 1000 ft/sec in a quarter second
