   A hybrid gas passer, with nitrous oxide tank in thermal blanket
   

   A drag race…. with a laggard at the pad
   

   The rest of these are at Pad 41, the away pad for big projects. This one is Richard King’s on a M1939. The step ladder gives a sense of scale:
   

   Aerotech Green Mojave M2100 motor:
   

   and hoping her chute will unfurl… (it did)

   

   Aaron Hagadorn’s "Cluster Buster" with three J90 long-burn motors:
   

   Gary Vielbaum’s big V2 going up on an M1939… She flew well but came in hot. It looks like my first one… and they tend to go ballistic…
   

   Overall, a fine weekend, before the Monday rain
