The Hawk looked great going up, with fins slots that make a "shock and awe" whistle:
Matthew & son were in the camp next to ours, and so we were rooting for them.
We also discovered a cute visitor who must have been drawn to the light of our night launch
P.S. Matthew, thanks for the 4-40 tap. The nylon shear pin held the Epic together for a couple wild rides. =)

heh… Here is that fB discussion.
But, to be fair, in this case, it was post flight for Erik, The little fellow was scurrying around looking for shelter, and I thought it would be a nice surprise for Erik to find a hitchhiker in there when he packed up to leave…
So instead, we caught Erik in a porta-toilet visit, and rocked the can to simulate a tip-over… door-side down…
He really did not like that. =)
