The Zeppelin came visiting today, flying right over my favorite climbing structure, the Stanford Dish, with the San Mateo Bridge in the distance.

  4. I have been hearing for years that Zeppelins are the "next big thing": cheap to run and maintain, needing no special landing facilities, capable of carrying very heavy loads, allowing remote and underdeveloped regions to enter the global economy… etc, etc.

    Any truth to all that?
