She was peacefully nursing her two cubs and then felt the arrival of a third, an adolescent interloper from the pride.

  4. 260mm on a FF sensor, what is that ~50 feet? Nursing lioness w/cubs about a second and a half away. You are a brave man.

  5. That’s about right. We were very close. Yeah, she might be able to do a huge leap, like this one. That is why I did not try to snuggle in there and compete for the action.

    Oh, and the leopard came closer… =)
