   To avoid creating a stir in the milk line, the interloper first curried favor with her cubs

   

   Soon after the image above, mom gave up on the whole lot

   

   and the cubs followed in tow

   260mm on a FF sensor, what is that ~50 feet? Nursing lioness w/cubs about a second and a half away. You are a brave man.

   That’s about right. We were very close. Yeah, she might be able to do a huge leap, like this one. That is why I did not try to snuggle in there and compete for the action.

   Oh, and the leopard came closer… =)
