   That was an awesome launch…the more I see these launches on your stream the more I want to try it out. Any websites you would suggest for a newbie to the hobby?

   Sure… I would start with a NAR or Tripoli prefecture nearby…. and an Aerotech mid-power kit (like the Initiator with a G40-7 motor)

   A while back there was a discussion on GPS rcvrs losing lock on the way up… has that been fixed?

   It should have been ~37K ft. if the fin had not ripped off near the max velocity of the boost (1,674 MPH according to Rocksim). But it ripped apart around 9K ft. (or perhaps higher; that’s when we reacquired GPS lock in free fall back to Earth). With a smaller N2850, I got to 33K ft. (slo mo video, regular video)

   @victor1 – the MTV pad cam ideas come from you. Surplus Flip cams are getting so cheap now that it’s fun to try some experiments
