It started with some finger contortions and funny noises. They were particularly interested in the Vulcan V hand gesture. Not sure why I tried that salute, but it was a good challenge for them to imitate.

    The kids were so incredibly photogenic: playful, poignant and poised at the same time.

    I am back in the office now, but have thousands of photos that I have not even had a chance to review yet… More to come.

  6. Language of Imitation = Memetic Code… We are machines of imitation, both in our bodies, through generations, and in our minds, representing the emotions of others through our empathy.

    Further increasing our memetic fitness is going to be very important if we want to proceed in our trajectory of building a planetary civilization.
