Goofing around with Garrett Lisi over Skype for an upcoming TV program.
The bald Einstein from Maui is sporting a cool E8 t-shirt.
And then filming the program…. I had to sneak in a few screen shots along the way

Should be cool. Will add a pointer when it comes out.
More Lisi links… his colorful life… and his TED Talk:

Steve – Very cool screen shots.
Gar – we gotta get you some different colors of that shirt!
Reichart – love your garage. 🙂
would like to see the program… hope will be available online.
Unified field theory and new paradigm in science would not be developed overnight… might take another 3-5-7 years – and a team of Einsteins with other resources in place… one can do only so much even being a superman of sorts:) probably – nobody can be expected to be a superman in this regard:D
oh, on Lisi’s webpage – familiar secret-sacred-scientific geometry and the Egyptian connection again, funny:D
Intriguing, printed out "an exceptionally simple theory of everything"… as for math goes, i will probably understand nothing:D Lisi and Haramein are both talking about some sort of geometry, some sort of “fundamental pattern” or whichever it can be called and the last explains the fractal-spinning nature of different phenomenon on macro and micro level (galaxies, hurricanes, shells, DNA spirals etc)… if to play with this idea… there can be infinite number of universes and each can have its own pattern of creation… so it becomes something like kaleidoscope of different universes all together… kinda difficult not to be curious about this one…
Disclaimer;
In reference to my "HB particle" image; (referenced above)
My interest in this stuff is similar in depth to a 6 year old at an air show…
Tried to read up on this guy…..its tough sledding.

We should cajole Grigory Perelman out of his hermitic retreat in Saint Petersburg and send him on an extended vacation to Maui, during which discussion sessions with Garrett Lisi could be held; copious amounts of tea and cookies should be served.
Such a combination of a physicist and a "geometer" could be as intellectually stimulating, synergistic and fruitful as the collaboration between Einstein and Marcel Grossman…
Another thing that we are buliding bigger, smarter, chipper rockets but it seems that it is not good enough… the technology is 50+ years old… (first ideas emerged at least a century ago) there might be a different way to travel in space and if some crazy in a good way people get together and brainstorm – some new paradigm might emerge.. E8 or other elegant theory of everything – a combination of effort of several or many people…
kinda like in semiconductors… we reached a boundary condition recently and quantum computing is creating a new paradigm after Moore’s law..
thus there are some parts of the puzzle-ideas in the world (Eppie kinda thought similar) now which can (if brought together with the right resources and time) can create a new engine for the innovation in the space industry and other industries…and give us new sources of energy… thus helps us to evolve in whatever we are evolving…. "radiant mankind"…

In one of the most pre-announced discoveries ever…. big Higgs news today…
Via Garrett Lisi on Facebook: “…perhaps the most momentous day in particle physics of the century. The Higgs boson [aka "God particle"] is the Holy Grail for particle physicists because it is the missing link that provides a description of how all particles get their masses and how they interact with the gravitational field. Now that we know the existence of the Higgs boson, this is just as significant as finding out that, in fact, atoms do have these hard little nuclei. We don’t know what the implications will be decades down the line from this discovery, but they will surely be huge."
from Lisi’s video
And a summary article, that coincidentally uses my fireworks photo…
