Tim Draper and I have been thinking about the long-term scalability of our business and how to optimize multipresence.

Instead of three mothers (like Missy below), Sim has three fathers, with fused germplasm from Tim and me, and Frank is still trying to reconcile his surrogate role with his Utah upbringing.

Here he is fresh from Korea, but we kept him under wraps for a while. Like Missy, he shares many of the mannerisms of the Dads, like Tim’s flipped tie fetish. We find that adorable.

We do worry a bit about institutionalized groupthink though.

The NearMissies… Different ages, but cloned in Korea from the same deceased mother:

    Cute Clones

They have no father, but three mothers contributed to their birth: Missy for DNA, another for an embryo (and mitochondrial DNA), and a third surrogate mom for implantation and fetal development.

Because of their random estrous cycles, dogs are among the most difficult animals to clone. Humans are much more compliant.

Thanks to the Big O for making this possible…

For the teen years, I got an early sample of hESC from the same lab in Korea:

    Crème de Stem™

It’s made from human embryonic stem cells, harvested from IVF clinics, with immortal cell lines from supermodels.

I deal with AHB queens in Brazil. They produce really great honey but are a bit behavioral problematic.
