I just uploaded the data from my BodyMedia FIT. I was very curious about my sleep patterns. What am I doing all night? Here you can see a good night, and a lunchtime game of Ultimate Frisbee.

The sensors (3-axis accelerometer, galvanic skin response, skin temp and heat flux) log about 100 datapoints/second to deduce a lot about your activity.

    Indeed.
    Semantically speaking, I’d prefer to see "Effective Sleep" instead of "Sleep Efficiency".

  8. I am very very curious about this. I checked the site, does it work? Did you like it? I have been looking for something to monitor activities and calories burned, without having to wear that darn strap, but could not find something that is a good fit.

  9. Yes… it does work for me. Full disclosure, though, we have an indirect investment in the company, so take it like a recommendation from an enthusiastic employee. I’ve been wearing it ever since I got it, and it’s comfortable enough to forget. I would never wear the chest straps.
