I just got back from the desert on a horse with no name.

Shot 1110 photos and also had 4 videocams, two of which are now demolished from ballistic impact. So… I may post more photos than usual. =) Quite the sensory overload.

This is my old L1 cert rocket jumping the moon with a shower of molten titanium. (large and video medley

It was a perfect flight, with an easy recovery given the rainbow LED sequencer in the nosecone. And then Jim Green launched his upscale version on a home-brew M1400 sparky, the largest night launch motor I have seen. It was glorious.

  1. I have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about (LED sequencer, M1400, L1 cert ???) but it sure makes for a beautiful picture! 🙂

  2. Did it feel good to be out of the rain?

On the first part of the journey
I was looking at all the life
There were plants and birds and rocks and things
There was sand and hills and rings
The first thing I met was a fly with a buzz
And the sky with no clouds
The heat was hot and the ground was dry
But the air was full of sound

hvhe1: =) They are the magic light ingredients…. just missing the eye of newt.

    ….and that’s a semi-trailer-RV contraption full of propellant in the distance. =)

  4. I guess there weren’t no one for to give you no pain.

  5. It’s a decent shot. Nice sky.
