From flickr befriending, I have now met PhotonQ in Paris and at BIL. He sent me this wonderful and peculiar gift. For a sense of the simpatico, I decided that I had to see this comic book, and managed to order one over amazon.fr as a new user (with no English option, of course =) before I knew he had already sent me one.
It tells the graphic tale of an alternative history — a micrometeorite takes out Apollo 11, and a Russian cosmonaut becomes the global heroine.
This edition is special though. PhotonQ has also sketched an alternate future on the overleaf.
Particularly topical, as the big nine-engine SpaceX rocket has its first launch window Friday morning at Cape Canaveral for its inaugural test flight. (webcast will be here)
