Covered quite a bit of ground underground today. At this point we were heading uphill. I figured we could feel the water flow direction for our return path if the flashlight died.

The sewers of Los Gatos always bring back nicely seared college memories of The Game

  1. My first thought when I saw this was that it was an accelerator tunnel. Of course now I see that was silly.

  2. People reconnoitering underground escape routes are generally up to no good 😉

  3. Q: What is this or what do you want it to be?
A: Reverse engineering near death experience

  4. Rod Serling… is that you?!

  5. Where in Los Gatos is this? Is this open to the public? looks awesome.

  6. Vasona Park…. look to the rumbling bridge and drop a feather…

I just found the TV coverage of our 1990 escapades:
    News 1 (I make a cameo appearance at 0:53)
    News 2

  7. classic – Agent Cooper on the Treasure Hunt – what a great clip for posterity… and a cracking photo up above, to boot!

  8. This is so like a dream I had recently – you weren’t buried by a Nazi guard at the end were you? 😉

  9. Where’s the slingshot and water balloons?

  10. Kaets – my first sewer spelunking escapade was in Richardson. They have BIG sewers in North Dallas. And I found some nice sewer girls at a junction near Northgate High School. Formative years…

    Caro – not yet.
