  1. which one is yours,? btw, you still have a job steve? i read the financial market in the us might never be again what it was before. and i think you where working with this fast "unreal" money… so if you need something to eat, i’m a good cook and i would be happy to invite you to be my guest,

  2. Neat, a rare event indeed; the silicon valley is a good place to live.

  3. .schtieF: heh, I dont know! They are both Signature Green with the angle-dependent electric blue accent….

  4. Cool colour combination! Beautiful shape!

  5. Found in the wilds of Sand Hill Steve? πŸ˜‰

  6. casually I was reading about Tesla bio today… they say that many of his discoveries/researches in regard to physics had been classified by the Us government… is this true? and if it is, are they still kept classified?

His life reminded me of A Wonderful Mind… madness and genius… such a fine line in between… if any, sometimes.

Nice car… what about a design like the Gallardo? mmmm! πŸ˜€

Things might be difficult for you to judge from a mute 2D picture on Flickr, but the sad truth is that the quiet and civilized electric Tesla is quite lacking in the throb and rumble department compared with the Italian large-displacement multi-valve multi-cylinder internal combustion designs to which womenfolk have been shown to be receptive πŸ˜‰

  8. yeah, I know, but I was just refereing to the bodywork of the Gallardo, the exterior design. For the rest, I know there’s some difference. πŸ™‚

  9. > For the rest, I know there’s some difference. πŸ™‚

Please also note that my comment should in no way be construed as an admission that the Italians do it better πŸ˜‰

  10. I think Steve’s must be on the left because he parks his in the middle of his space instead of encroaching on the stripe.

  11. Tesla should build its plant up here:

    mystery company

  12. Heh… I’ll be driving through that part of Nevada soon (for rockets) and with a posse of "Mommas for Obama" going door to door…

nhr: Oh that’s funny… β€œthe revving of a luxury car’s engine tends to have a sexually arousing effect in women.” then… "Yeah, I know" |-)

I just forwarded the link to the Tesla CTO as a motivation for an idea I pitched hard 3.5 years ago: downloadable engine ring tones.

  13. I cringe,,,, That’s a door ding waiting to happen….. ;-o

But after the first one, it doesn’t hurt so much…

  14. well the guy on the right, obviously can’t park – or thinks he owns the parking lot. (so I hope you’re the guy on the left.) I so want a Tesla; and the Prius-like Mini.

  15. Steve — I thought of your ring tone idea last week — on 60 minutes, Bob Lutz mentioned selling a CD with engine sounds of other famous cars to electric car customers. They’ve taken the idea and run with it!

    Transcript:
Everything about the Volt, he says, works like a conventional car, except there’s no noise. "There’s one thing we can do, for people who miss the sound of the engines, we sell them a CD…with various engine sounds. So you’ll be able to pick a Ferrari V12 or, you know, Le Mans Corvette," Lutz explains.
