casually I was reading about Tesla bio today… they say that many of his discoveries/researches in regard to physics had been classified by the Us government… is this true? and if it is, are they still kept classified?
His life reminded me of A Wonderful Mind… madness and genius… such a fine line in between… if any, sometimes.
Nice car… what about a design like the Gallardo? mmmm! π

yeah, I know, but I was just refereing to the bodywork of the Gallardo, the exterior design. For the rest, I know there’s some difference. π

I think Steve’s must be on the left because he parks his in the middle of his space instead of encroaching on the stripe.

Heh… I’ll be driving through that part of Nevada soon (for rockets) and with a posse of "Mommas for Obama" going door to door…
nhr: Oh that’s funny… βthe revving of a luxury car’s engine tends to have a sexually arousing effect in women.β then… "Yeah, I know" |-)
I just forwarded the link to the Tesla CTO as a motivation for an idea I pitched hard 3.5 years ago: downloadable engine ring tones.

well the guy on the right, obviously can’t park – or thinks he owns the parking lot. (so I hope you’re the guy on the left.) I so want a Tesla; and the Prius-like Mini.

Steve — I thought of your ring tone idea last week — on 60 minutes, Bob Lutz mentioned selling a CD with engine sounds of other famous cars to electric car customers. They’ve taken the idea and run with it!
Transcript:
Everything about the Volt, he says, works like a conventional car, except there’s no noise. "There’s one thing we can do, for people who miss the sound of the engines, we sell them a CDβ¦with various engine sounds. So you’ll be able to pick a Ferrari V12 or, you know, Le Mans Corvette," Lutz explains.
