…in the Palazzo Vecchio. The huge painting of a siege of Florence was captivating in its sweeping scale. (best seen mondo-sized)

I don’t know the history here, but I noted a lot more tents, and less orcs, than in the movies…

  2. Vasari could have painted the Orcs but he didn’t knew that they would of been a danger to him and The Republic of Florence at the time. And the Orcs would have had nothing to do with the Giants of Aasa, who were the actual reason why it was important to paint this painting. One Aasan Giant apparently was buried out there after the rest of the giants were chased out of the country by Mac Cullaume. See excavations here

  3. The giant meme always leaves me suspicious of some biblical hoax.. and sure enough

Vanita: so true….. reminds me of the Orcs of ancient times… circa ’04

    Massive Orcs

  4. If there would be a program like Massive to multiply a hoax it would soon be as big of a hoax as the Bible. I agree, it is still hard to compete with the Bible hoax ways. I really believe that major film characters become the idols of mass culture, and their worlds in a way the new religions of our time. The US culture seems quite saturated with movies, and the mindset is often tampered by this “hoax of fantasy” that we wish to live in or find a way to escape to. Computer games, I think, cause the most addiction when overdosed and drag in to the fake reality and apparent swallowing of culture. As you see I am an escapist myself and try to stay at the Land of Aasa, with Quenby and Mac Cullaume, and once addicted do everything to not let go.
