  5. For a moment I read "Jupiter FROM Earth", and was wondering "what kind of telescope ??!?!?…" Then I got it.
    Very nice 🙂

Homework: find the other solar system planets on Earth 😀

  6. Bingo xouroborus! Precisely right.

    Alieness – see, it’s a baby Jupiter.

Strange_wax: Oh, yes, but I can only offer Mars and the Milky Way…

    Don't Panic! you are here

  7. I see monoliths multiplying.

  8. Baby jupiters are my favorites!!! |-)

I thought it was a rusty old surface mistreated with acid or something (like the hood of an old car).

And no, I don´t need to go to the eye doctor! 😛

  9. Very interesting! nice point of view b:)

    awesome pictures

  10. woo-hoo! look at me! I didn’t think any commercial flights
would risk flying over blackrock, so it had to be Utah! 🙂

  11. Heh… Gotta watch out for those DIY SAMs in Black Rock…

I actually had a day trip to Utah squeezed in there… and the Great Salt Lake always makes for an interesting window view during takeoff and landing.

The hypersaline lake covers 1,700 square miles but has a maximum depth of about 35 feet. It’s typically 3 to 5 times saltier than the ocean and fish free. The phytoplankton blooms in January followed by several species of diatoms.
