
Primarily interested in the synergies with flickr, Polaroid has emerged as a white knight in Yahoo’s battle against a hostile takeover by Microsoft.
Arguing that the Polaroid platform is more flexible and developer-friendly than Windows could ever be, Polaroid is busily porting the flickr archive.
“The medium is the message. We make McLuhan manifest in multimedia. The early days of any new media mimic its predecessor, and it’s still early days in the Internet,” said spokesperson Dr. Lirpa Sloof.
