Jerry Yang and Akiko Yamazaki dedicate the new multi-disciplinary Environment & Energy building (Y2E2) at Stanford this evening, just down the road from our old EE office trailers during grad school.

    I understand that it’s not LEED certified. They used the Stanford Performance Criteria for High Performance Buildings, which is supposed to be LEED Platinum equivalent. Some question whether the demolition of the old building would have prevented them from getting LEED certification.
