Puzzle Series: What is this, or what do you want it to be?
I think it might be a boat of some sort. It looks like you are right over the engine, because the air intake filter is in front of you.

This is the interior of a NASCAR race car. It is the AMD car, but they all look the same. Every detail – down to the aerodynamic fins on the roof – is specified by the racing league. The inside is a rat’s nest of pipes and wires. Some drivers found a way to sneak extra gasoline inside of the roll bars, but they were caught.
“Our cars use leaded gas and 1950s carburetor technology. In 2007, we will break into the world of unleaded.”
“Our drivers lose 8-10 lbs per race.”

So, Steve. Got a trivia question for you, about gasoline.
Why was lead originally put into gasoline, and how does it solve the problem? (I recently read about this, and found it fascinating.)
(i knew it was a racecar, my cousins used to race) but i’d like it to be my new car. stupid jettas.
i’m going to go find out just why lead WAS put in gasoline. i can’t leave a good question unanswered!
