Hopefully cool action photos to follow. I strapped a video cam to my arm and recorded all of the zero gravity fun. The plane climbs at a 45-degree angle and then dives, creating perfect weightlessness on the inside. It did not feel like a roller-coaster, but more like a floating zen romper room.

  1. I would not refuse an invitation! Who’s in charge?

    Vomit Comet

  4. have to admit, i’m green with envy!
would love to go for a ride with the vomit comet…
    congrats!

  5. automatt: ๐Ÿ˜‰ gotta bring rubber snakes next time. What a great visual idea. We’re also going to try to build a jet pack with compressed air lens cleaners for propulsion and side retro rockets.

Leino: we had prescription motion sickeness meds. Seemed to do the trick. One guy who just used over-the-counter Dramamine hurled quietly on the ride home (no windows + gravity + motion seemed worse than the parabola time).

oddwick: will do. Lots of footage to review…. Meanwhile, here’s a sense of how funny it can be… From a smaller plane… (amateur video)

  6. Wow. You’re clearly slightly unhinged!
