It ruins the seaside atmosphere. I would much prefer to crash in the waves than in that air cushion. I would much prefer to hear the sound of the sea than to hear the hydraulic pump. I assume that Half Moon Bay is a place where many people have a weekend home. It is ironic that such diversions would be offered where one seeks to relax and get away from everything.

They say that "half moon bay" was an alibi to hide the real meaning of the initials HMB:
"Hop My Bull"
Actually this thingy is the main feature of the resort… Steve knows this, that´s why he took a pic of it.

heh…. I was walking by and saw this strange apparition, surrounded by party goers in cowboy hats… and a cigar chompin’ bull operator. (all temporary installations, thankfully =)
The rider could barely lift a leg to get on… Imagine this ride going much slower than could possibly be imagined… yet, he fell off onto a soft air cushion…
