  1. "I am easily excitable about cool new tech gadgets"

Potentially the understatement of of the decade.

    =P

  2. I see your company is backing them. I would love to have a car that has the Tesla name (one of my heros). I wish them all the best.

  3. This is what the first Tesla Electric car looked like:

A modified 1931 Pierce Arrow that allegedly was Powered by free energy. It sounds like the new one requires charging periodically… how’s that an improvement? 😉

  4. lotus shells electric heart – sweet idea – is there a market ?gearheads like internal combustion noises…lets see

  5. That must be so weird to feel this thing throw you back into the seat without the sound of a combustion engine.

  6. So. Steve.

When can I go for a ride?

Pleeeeease!!! I want to see the Shiny Blinky!

  7. Thanks for the link to Tesla’s “Power Box”, Mr. Trotman! I had not read that before….what a great mystery!

Do you think that the box was the sole source of power for the car or was it a ‘receiver’ for some secreted wireless energy source? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wardenclyffe_Tower

    hmmm….very intriguing.

  8. 60mph in 4 seconds…

so I guess having a crank to charge the battery like my flashlight/radio is out of the question.

  9. thanks for the links!

    oddwick: Summer ’07 baby!

Bryankennedy, Svur: Miss the sound of a combustion engine? How about the sound of a Harley…. or an RC toy car… or a Saturn V… modulated by the motor control signals., of course…

Last year, I mused about the emerging need for downloadable Engine Ring Tones…. 😉

  10. *waits impatiently*

The future never comes fast enough! And the present passes too quickly!

  11. The logo looks very familiar to a Lambo fan 😉

  12. Have you seen this video of the wrightspeed v a Ferrari and Porsche – video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7352118104883452737 – very cool
