  1. I think that it was you with da cam who caught their eye…

    Posers…!

    😛

  2. "Our chief weapon is surprise…surprise and fear…fear and surprise….
Our two weapons are fear and surprise…and ruthless efficiency…." 😉

  3. heh, heh… It was quite a suprise for me. Nobody else was there on Drakes Bay…. but there were about a thousand sea birds going through complex manoevers in the fog… as far as the eye could see

  4. "The Birds!"
We are glad you came out alive! LOL

If you hear a producer at Buck’s, on a plane or somewhere else talk about making a modern version of the movie, you could suggest them this spot for the birds and this one for the mist and the red-roofed house and this one also for the fog in the bay and maybe this one for added suspense.

  5. Mimosa: good idea. I don’t think the director would have any trouble recruiting "extras" from the local bird population. 🙂

Perhaps not coincidentally, the original was actually filmed in Bodega Bay, just up the coast from Point Reyes.

  6. "I believe that for his escape he took advantage of the migration of a flock of wild birds…" +

  7. Thanks David for the cool link. I had fun comparing the different images.

  8. do you say "floteeia" or "flotisha"?

In Buenos Aires we say "flotisha", but that´s rioplatense castillian, y´know…

  9. I say "Flow-till-uh", but then again, I’m just an American…
