Puzzle Series: What is this, or what do you want it to be?
I will never guess!
It is not a window or a glass because there is a reflection of the knob as with a mirror. Some kind of reflector in an old camera. The prism is like what we see in a mirror at times.
I want it to be the window of the front door of my new home!
edit:
yes of course, I cannot help it. It is in my curious nature
Yes I do have a knack for this…!
I see a door in the dark part of the picture on the left.
There must be a stained glass window that is reflected in the mirror.
It could be a church window.
To me is a very small thing, like a closeup of the viewfinder of a camera. As well… I thought it could be maybe a bigger thing (hand size) and that you had gone to the movies and had been able to take a closeup picture from beside of the projector at work.
So then I have to think of the movie too…! For me the movie could have been: Ice Age 2. =D
Bingo Benjiman. Are you a new winner?
Mimosa and Alieness sensed the big picture – it’s inside a camera.
This is a photo into the barrel of the Canon 5D during a sensor clean.

The mirror flips out of the way to revel the colorful gem within – the 12.8 Megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor that electronically captures the image. It is HUGE compared to the 3MP and 5MP versions I have removed from other cameras:

It also has a low pass filter integrated into the cover glass, so I don’t know if the rainbow is diffraction from the filter or the underlying sensors.
We were quick!
Mirror, reflection, reflector, camera, prism, hum, I was close enough, considering that I started out the first second saying I’ll never guess. I am happy.
Do we get a marking?
Congrats Benjiman!
J, are you already disassembling your cannon?! It doesn´t even had 5 months with you… little time for a lady (and such a lady) to feel comfortable, you know, doing exhibitionism over the table! 😛
Ah, if working on the puzzles is what we have to do to be famous in Flickr…! LOL International, that is quite true.
