  1. Fire & Water. Free. Paul Kossoff. Good Work

  2. nice. I had never seen a fireworks show in the middle of a snow blizzard before.

  3. Ah, I get it! You did the wizzing thing with your camera while watching fireworks in a snowtorm!
I still see it as an explosion of ideas.

  4. absolutely! I once saw -too- an explosion of ideas and it looked pretty much like this. But those were green ideas.

    😉

  5. Excellent! We’re getting touches of snow now, but not FEET of it, waaaahh!

A picture of a red traffic light through the snow?

  6. A traffic light supended in the air? No. Notice that there are yellow strands among the red.

  7. Hmm, yeah, but I’m having troubles visualizing 1/8 second exposure on actual fireworks creating this.. Very repetitive! Fish scales all over!

  8. I took a long exposure with flash, and rotated the camera during the exposure. So the fireworks streaks have linear explosion + rotation dynamics over the long exposure, and the flash freezes (so to speak) all of the white points of snow — from big and blurry in the foreground to small sharp points in the background.

  9. Creative as always!

  10. I agree with maesk – very creative!
