The Heliodisplay reminds me of the R2D2 image projector…

I posted a video of this in action. The rotating car image is on a streaming sheet of compressed air (light diffuser) and you can move your hand through the image.

  2. Coolness. Heard about them a year back and then … nuthin.

    Glad to know they’re still noodling with that technology.

    So two questions:

    First off, was the mist coarse enough to condense on your hand?

    Second – was the image more stable than what we saw in the video? I assume not but hey a guy can dream can’t he?
