David: It is not modified (I don’t have photshop or anything like that, so all of my photos are just pocket camera captures, cropped sometimes in iPhoto).
As for the source of this artifact, well, I was shooting from indoors. Since the Ritz is fairly new, it was probably double-pane glass. The camera was at an angle to the window, so perhaps I caught the double-internal reflection. //
But I like the theory that it’s just cross-talk from the Tatooine Matrix….. or frame stutter in the multiverse…. or, that at that very moment, a 2-slit obelisk passed in front of the sun….
Eneken just posted a late night poker photo, when there were a few tables left. I had only ~$14K of coin in front of me. About an hour later, it was a ~million dollar pile.
In the final hand, there were three of us, betting to the river. There was a K on the table and low cards that could not make a flush or a straight. R.J. had the best opening hand (pocket aces) and went all-in. Tim also went all-in, as did I. I was holding K,3 which formed 2 pair with the K,3 on the board to beat the pair of aces.
This was the fourth time that I have played a game of poker, and I can see what all the excitement is about. Texas Hold ‘Em has emerged recently and has become wildly popular, taking over 80% market share of all poker games.
