We just had to launch some rockets tonight. But we forgot the electric ignition system. Matches don’t work. Luckily, the igniters work just fine with a 9V battery.

  2. how come you HAD to? 😉

  3. The 24hr flickr feedback experience is very cool. Kannach: I really loved your first response: "I’ve just spat my coffee out. I can’t stop laughing……." I guess that got cleaned up…. =)

  4. Thought it might deter others from commenting. There seems to be alot of it going on.(changing the names of things including Titles)You Excluded

  5. A nice MacGuyver moment…

With a title like "Hand Job" it brought back memories of my photo about "How to Choke your Chicken in Two Steps"! Just goes to show you can’t rely on the title for what’s in the photo viewer’s head…

Did the person igniting the rockets get burned?

  6. No yelps of pain that I recall…. Just an adrenaline rush…

  7. thanks for posting this to elements.

  8. These rocket tails of yours…
    Simply great.

That November night, looking up into the sky,
    You said,

‘Hey, wish that was me up there–
It’s the biggest rocket I could find,
And it’s holding the night in its arms
    If only for a moment.
I can’t see the look in its eyes,
But I’m sure it must be laughing.’
