  1. oh, how beautiful – i love the colours! the sound of water dripping is such a relief to those of us who have been socked in by winter all these dark winter months. i feel awakened and refreshed just looking at this! thank you!

  2. This is fantastic– I love the near replication of the image in the water drops. Refraction makes a better subject than reflection, I think, if only because it keeps the image of a camera out of a nature photo, hehe!

This picture works well, but do you think deeper focus, particularly with more water drops in focus, would help this picture, or hurt it?

  3. bitterseas: thanks. The beauty of September in the Rockies near you more than makes up for a harsh March methinks….

Sunburn: I was playing with the Casio’s manual focus for the first time, and went through a few depth settings. Is this what you mean?

  4. very good macro love it ,love reflections in water drops , there awesome.

  7. funny title! this is magic, really 3D…well done:)

  8. The picture you link has more of what I was looking for, indeed!

Unfortunately I understand little about the effects caused by various combinations of exposure time, aperture, and focal-length, so I usually refrain from telling people how to take pictures, heh. Still, pictures like the above stimulate my "what would happen if…" behavior, which is a good thing.
