  1. You’re telling me this is a picture of a laser fusion target going off? Or just cool laser art?

  2. It just looks like a planet about to be engulfed by an exploding star. I don’t have a good enough zoom to actually capture such an event… 😉

    This picture is part of a series that was acheived by shining a laser pointer into the camera with the barrrel extended at full zoom.

    I remember that lizard from your puzzles! Astounding! So, all the cyans are photoshop created? quite wild. Surprising there was no sensor burn. That means I can point at the full sun without harming the camera?

  4. so, the cool part is that these colors emerge from some in camera artifacts (flaring from the lens array, perhaps saturation of the CCD Imager… I’m not really sure). The only light source is monochromatic red light. It is not a photoshop job (I don’t have Photoshop =).
