  1. Neat! That is a really neat project.

  2. should I ask what my parents asked me when they found out I had disassembled my portable radios? I always managed to get them back together….well, except for those 2 screws…..

  3. What did your parents ask, dare I ask?

  4. now that you’ve got it apart, can you get it back together again? Although it doesn’t look that bad to get it reassembled.

  5. so, u got it apart. i can not judge if u can put it back together. but what do u want to do with it?

or were you looking for the elves in there?

  6. Back together again…. 😉

I was just being curious. I like to peer inside the black box…

  7. I used to that but with cars… my bro´s various ones he had and after that with an ex-Bf´s racing cars.

There was a problem: always bolts or small pieces were left out when puttin the engine back together. And to drive a car, more a racing one, in that conditions is… freaky. But FUN! Wish I could be back to that again. =D

  8. thanks for indulging my curiosity about your curiosity.

(having held microchannel plates and CCD arrays in my bare hands, i have a different kind of curiosity)

    thanks again.

  9. It would have been even cooler if you had taken the picture with the "exploded" camera: the camera photographing its own guts!

I love the picture anyway. 🙂

  10. did you manage to fix it back again?

  11. oops, no…. it broke internally before I took it apart…. It’s now a display item in my bookcase at work….

Bistro: interesting idea…. I did a variation on that with some Casio twins….

  12. This photo makes me want to take my camera apart. I’ve always let my kids take apart any old computer devices before I threw them out and I found I had as much fun as they did.
