I was wondering why this camera is so bulky – no flex circuits. Five circuit boards are stacked on top of each other! The connectors between each layer are a possible point of failure (as Apple learned with the Apple ]|[).

  1. I understand. Since I was about 9 years old all I wanted was to take things apart to see "how they worked". I’m 43 now and I at least know to put the screws down on the bench in order so that I can reverse the process. I still don’t know what makes it work, but then again I stopped my education at analog circuitry. there’s only so much time in a day and I’m tired of trying to figure out why they don’t make things simple to fix. They build them to break so that you’ll throw them away and buy version 2.0. And it’s usually vaporware. "OH, that will be fixed in the update. Don’t worry about it." Actual quote.

  2. Hmmmm….I feel a draft.
