‘Hotmail’… ‘hotmail’? Jesus, the name sounds so familiar, but I can´t remember what was it…
😉
How incredible that this photo didn´t get any comment in all this time, right? I wonder what may be the meaning of the store´s name "quoc thai"…
I was also wondering about the analogy between the vietnamese militar strategy -tunnel webs- and the ontology of the Internet… How could the former be a concrete example of the theoretical indestructibility of the last?
I came back here because I remembered this conversation while reading now the online newspaper on the war in Lebanon… beyond comments on how unfortunate all this is =( , I wanted to share this:
I am reading that one of the greatest difficulties for the israeli troops is that the hezbollah army has set up a net of underground tunnels and bunkers. What impressed me is that no-one is making the connection between this and Vietnam… (which would lead to seriously think what can be the outcome of trying to fight against them under this conditions).

Quoc Thai is very likely the name of the store owner, which is a very popular way of naming in VN.
I’m sure I get all the meaning of your analogy between VNs army & internet ?!
