Clock of the Medium Now

We pulled the pin at the inaugural FWD conference in the Bavarian Alps. It cannot be reset. It displays days, hours, minutes and seconds like a counter. Here’s a short video of it.

The producer claims it will run for 2,500 years, but as I looked more closely, the batteries will need to be replaced every 150 years. So, some maintenance required, not unlike the analog 10,000 year Clock of the Long Now.
