He shares the story of his attempt to recover the first known interstellar meteor from the sea bottom near Papua New Guinea. We concluded it’s interstellar. It came from outside the solar system. Could it be a Voyager-like meteor? Imagine our own spacecraft colliding with a planet like Earth. In the future, it would appear as a meteor of unusual material strength and unusual speed, which are exactly the properties of this meteor from 2014. It exploded in the lower atmosphere, and that meant that the object had material strength tougher than even iron meteorites."
He concludes that he thinks we will discover conclusive evidence of alien intelligence within the next 10 years.
